The international polymer market provides excellent growth potential for our business. A new regionally focused sales and marketing approach and the ongoing expansion of our international manufacturing capacities leave us ideally positioned to capture further market share. Are you a B2B sales and marketing professional who knows how to enter new markets, seize market opportunities and expand business in the chemical industry? Your contribution:
Joining our team in Hamburg you will assume responsibility for the commercial success of our indirect sales of commodity polymers, acting as the primary contact for our distribution accounts in the region. Your goal will be to maximise the profitability of the business. Managing day-to-day business relationships and proficiently coordinating all sales activities with your accounts will be an integral part of your role. Actively seeking regular contact, you will nurture and develop profitable relationships. Identifying and embracing opportunities – this is the motto that you will consistently pursue. Always well-informed about what drives the polymer markets in general and above all our distributors, you will succeed in expanding business with your strategic vision and tactical sense. Understanding and supporting the needs and objectives of your distribution accounts, aligning them with Sasol’s organisational objectives and capacity, and delivering real value for both parties will be your constant challenge in all this. You will develop convincing value propositions, marketing materials and campaigns, and actively support your accounts in succeeding with our products. You will conclude price and volume agreements, compile demand forecasts and ensure that orders are processed reliably in close coordination with Supply Chain and Customer Services. You will closely track our distributors’ marketing activities and metrics to ensure targets are met while maintaining consistent compliance with Sasol’s policies and values. Last but not least, you will actively contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives and projects, seeking continuous improvement in our product and service offerings.
