Your tasks
- Compile, manage and execute the Group Compliance Services Compliance Coverage Plan detailing the activities to be undertaken for a financial year across Sasol, globally.
- Participate and facilitate workshops with Business Units for the development of Compliance Risk Profiles by providing input on regulatory requirements and assist with ad-hoc queries.
- Review and validate the timeous completion of the relevant business Compliance Risk Profiles and Critical Control Frameworks/Compliance Risk Management Plans for distribution to the relevant stakeholders and ensure that the Compliance Risk Profile and Critical Control Framework/ Compliance Management Plan are included on the Compliance electronic system.
- Identification of high-risk regulatory requirements requiring mitigation measures across Sasol.
- Provide input on various Compliance related policies and procedures.
- Participate in the implementation of various regulatory projects eg. Anti-bribery and Anti-Corruption; Competition/ Anti-Trust Laws; Data Privacy; etc
- Identifying weaknesses in business processes and assist with development of action plans to address compliance exposures.
- Proactive engagements with Centres of Expertise, Specialists, Business Units and other stakeholders.
Your qualifications and strengths
- German Legal Masters degree (2.tes Staatsexamen)
- several years relevant experience
