The international polymer market provides outstanding growth potential for our business. With a new, regionally focused sales and marketing approach and the ongoing expansion of our international manufacturing capacities, we are ideally positioned to gain further market share. That's where you come in. Are you a key account professional who knows how to close successful deals in the chemical industry or in a comparable commodity business? Do you have drive and commitment? Do you strive to develop your true potential? This is your chance: Make your mark by shaping the economic success of our polymers business in Europe.
You will assume sales responsibility for the Eastern Europe region or France. From A to Z, you will be responsible for growing the polymers business with existing customers and for acquiring further major customers in your region. The aim is to position Sasol as a leading supplier of commodity polyolefins in the packaging industry. Identifying and embracing opportunities – that is the motto that you will consistently pursue. Active relationship management will be an integral part of your role. You will maintain good contact with decision-makers as well as teams at all levels of customer organisations. You will stay informed about the requirements of your customer portfolio and developments in the industry. Equally important: well-founded market and competition analyses as well as the exchange with international colleagues. With a strategic vision and tactical nous, you will succeed in winning new business that will bring us sustainable progress. You will introduce customers to Sasol’s value proposition and products. After contracts have been signed, you always stay "on the ball" and ensure that your customers are completely satisfied with our products and services. You will conclude price and volume agreements, compile demand forecasts and ensure that orders are processed reliably in close coordination with our Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations and Technical Services teams. And should there happen to be any problems, you will first find a quick solution for our customer and secondly ensure that the cause is found and permanently rectified. In short, in addition to first-class products, you offer customers excellent support in all phases of cooperation. This is a real competitive advantage that you can continuously expand together with the entire European Polymer Team and your colleagues from the global sales organization: Through your input for the development of new products, through fresh ideas for new service offerings and through your participation in strategic initiatives to digitize our business processes.
At our European headquarters, based in an architecturally stunning office building in the centre of Hamburg, we offer you a wide variety of tasks with a high degree of creative freedom and personal development opportunities. You can also look forward to flexible working hours (37.5 hours per week full-time) with the option to work from home, our attractive, modern employee benefits and a respectful and cooperative team environment.
