On the way to digitization and Industry 4.0, IT and information security are among the main challenges of the global Sasol organization. The goal is to establish a state-of-the-art information security management throughout the entire Sasol world that keeps pace with our development and guarantees perfect business continuity. If you are interested in taking on a key role in the Eurasia region, you can expect a demanding task in which you are able to achieve a great deal.
You are the central instance for the realisation of the global information management / security strategy in the Eurasia region. Here you are equally in demand as a security mastermind, as a senior consultant and as an experienced coordinator who manages all security activities in the region. Aligned with the needs of the business units and the information management functions, you will drive the further development of the information security systems, processes and guidelines and ensure a smooth implementation by the local delivery teams.
You will establish the basis for your successful work by assessing the current information security landscape. You will identify internal and external risks, derive optimization measures and initiate projects. You know how to set the right priorities and implement the Information Security Roadmap for Eurasia. You will work closely with the business units and the information management functions, which you will advise on all information security issues and support in implementing information security governance and remediation controls. On the other hand, you advise the project teams and coordinate your initiatives with the operational infrastructure and security teams. You know that success in the information security field can only be achieved if all parties involved cooperate and feel responsible. Therefore, you consider the enhancement of awareness for information security amongst your core tasks – especially in the production areas, where digitalisation is creating completely new security requirements. You not only rely on training, but even more on building trustful working relationships and personal persuasion. Last but not least, you always keep an eye on current developments in the area of cyber security (technologies, tools, laws) and evaluate their relevance for the Sasol organization.
The particular appeal of this role: You have the opportunity to fill this newly created key function with life and largely determine yourself how best to achieve your goals. You will be in constant communication with senior managers and colleagues in the global and regional IM and security organization as well as with other internal and external partners. This constellation offers you excellent opportunities to grow and develop with your tasks.
At our international headquarters, based in an architecturally stunning office building in the centre of Hamburg, we offer you a wide variety of tasks with a high degree of creative freedom and personal development opportunities. You can also look forward to flexible working hours (37.5 hours per week full-time) with the option to work from home, our attractive, modern employee benefits and a respectful and cooperative team environment.
