As a member of our European Polymers Team you will be the technical expert for the use and processing of our products in a wide variety of applications with a focus on the plastics industry. You will support the sales team and our distributors with all technical questions regarding our polymers as well as with the introduction of new Sasol products into the European market. You will also act as the primary technical contact for our European customers. Your aim is, to actively assist customers in achieving best-in-class results when deploying our Polymer products – in terms of technical functionality, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
You will provide all relevant product information and documentation and support our customers in the technical qualification of Sasol polyethylene and polypropylene. Switching from competitor products to Sasol polymers is particularly easy for your customers because you understand their requirements and technology in depth. You will identify the optimal Sasol grades for customers’ application and actively support customers with qualification. As a reliable troubleshooter, you will find quick and service-oriented solutions for product and processing related complaints from customers. If required, you will liaise with technical experts from the global organization to solve problems. In short, you offer our customers a great deal of added value and knowhow and maintain good long-term relations with technical counterparts and decision-makers. You will keep customers up to date on new Sasol products and for developing a good understanding of customer's needs and challenges yourself. With customer insights and evaluations of industry trends and competitor products, you will contribute to the development of innovative products and product improvements. Of course, you will work closely with marketing & sales and technical departments such as product development and quality assurance.
